How could I not ! Isn't this - at the end of the day - what we're all desperately looking for?

And therefore, a tremendous leverage... from an intelligence perspective.

So yes, I am going to reflect strategically on "what love is". Or at least I'll try.

I'll reflect on biology, HUMINT and human nature. Stay with me, I'm quite sure you're going to like this one.


Love is not what we think it is. It is a strategic vulnerability coded into our biology, our psyche, and even our civilization.

Love is the most powerful human NEED... and the most exploited too.

Why? Because it's a crack in the system! The point of highest meaning and highest manipulation. And it all starts... with our biology.


Biology: we are DEPENDENT mammals

Humans are born UNFINISHED.

Yes right? We don't walk on day 1. Let a new born alone, he won't survive. We don't hunt, think, or survive alone.

Therefore, our first experience of life is NEED. Dependency.

The need for warmth, milk, protection, presence. And we associate all of that with the presence of a caregiver.

Tadaaaam! That is "love".

From birth, we associate LOVE with SURVIVAL. It's biological.

This is the primal code. Every form of love that comes after (romantic, filial, spiritual) is built on this fundamental need. And because it's so primal, it completely overrides logic.
